Washington Northern

HO scale model railroad

BN481298 - Centerflow Covered Hopper

Entire car was airbrushed with a diluted white. After fade had dried, entire car was dull coated. Blue acrylic paint was used and dry-brushed/scrubbed onto several areas to represent Great Northern blue showing through the BN green paint. Using weathering powders, I modeled the paint by applying green, tan and blue in random areas. After another coat of dullcoat, artist oil was used for rust.
